Joan Jett (Joan Marie Larkin) é uma cantora/guitarrista estadunidense. Nasceu em 1958 e é uma das figuras femininas mais importantes da história do rock. Em 2003, Joan Jett foi nomeada pela Rolling Stone a 87ª melhor guitarrista de todos os tempos.[1] Ela é uma das duas mulheres da lista, a outra é a Joni Mitchell.

Ela é conhecida mundialmente pelo hit “I Love Rock ‘n Roll”, que ficou o 1º lugar da Billboard de 30 de março até 1 de maio de 1982, e também por outras músicas famosas como “Crimson and Clover”, “Bad Reputation”, “Do You Wanna Touch Me”, “Light of Day”, “Love is All Around”, “I Hate Myself for Loving You” e “Everyday People”.
